Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Hi! My name is DJ Lon and I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to my Cyberspace on the World Wide Web. This all began in 1994 when I became the first Minnesota DJ to create a personal home page on the web. In 1996, it grew into DJLON.COM with multiple pages and RealAudio presentations until my retirement in 2000. I started my career as a professional nightclub DJ in 1984. I have DJed at clubs in Milwaukee, WI, Saint Paul, MN & Minneapolis, MN, produced remixes for the Hot Tracks Remix Service, have been a featured DJ on the Beat Radio Network and was a video editor at Wolfram Video (now Promo Only) for many years. My format specialties included beat-mixed Urban Contemporary, Mainstream House & Disco music and current/retro Music Videos. I have had the pleasure of meeting many artists and celebrities at various functions over the years including Grace Jones, Divine, RuPaul, Belinda Carlisle, Martha Wash, Colonel Abrams, Paul Winfield, New Order and Ice T.

Personal Observations

  • Regardless of what George Lucas says, Han shot Greedo first.
  • Gene Roddenberry's name is on Star Trek: The Animated Series, therefore it should be regarded as canon.
  • GM needs to restructure (i.e. dump Buick, Pontiac, Hummer, Saab & GMC) before asking for a public handout. Same goes for Ford & Chrysler. Yes, I know jobs are at stake (I own a 2008 Chevrolet) but if these companies want to be in existance in 2100 this needs to be done.

Other Places To Visit On The Web
